Later 5 people supported MIRAS for these 5 years were granted “MIRAS Award”. They are minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic, Abulfas Garayev; Mikayil Ismayilov, vice-president of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic; Azay Guliyev, chairman of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Gafar Jabiyev, chief of Agsu Archaeological Expedition, Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and representative of MIRAS in Italy, Professor Luigi Scrinzi.
5 representatives of mass media which elucidated the Organization’s activity comprehensively were granted “MIRAS Friend” plaquette within the event.
 

MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage held an event dedicated to its 5 year anniversary of establishment 10th January, 2015.
Member of MIRAS Board, Professor and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Gafar Jabiyev opened the event. Underscoring MIRAS acted rather widely than NGO for these 5 years, Professor noted MIRAS work in development of Azerbaijani science, history and archaeology. He said this event is accountable.
The chairman of the Organization, PhD Fariz Khalilli in his speech stressed 5 important moments as many successful projects, the Project of Medieval Agsu town’s archaeological research and conservation notable in cultural life of Azerbaijan and academic field, was rewarding “National Heritage Award” in 2013 which was founded by Ministry of Culture and Tourism on that year for the first time what means MIRAS is in the focus of the government as well. The Organization launched archaeological excavations in Bayimli Village of Agsu region. In this excavation reveal of interesting layers of Caucasus Albanian hsitory is main target. MIRAS created Medieval Agsu Town Archaeological Tourism Complex. This non-analogous complex turns to be development center of culture, toruism and economy and science in the country. MIRAS laid ground for much work. So, the Organization brought to the country the term of archaeological tourism, concentrated on public attitudes towards historical and cultural monuments and started the action of protection of ecological and ethnographical identicity of villages. Furthermore, MIRAS is participant, organizer and counterpart of many international events, symposiums and conferences. Thereby the Organization tried to represent our country in wide scale. The speech of Fariz Khalilli was accompanied with photos and film reflecting 5-year activity of the Organization.

The members of MIRAS were presented gifts of memory for their active work for the organization.
Associate member of ANAS Vali Aliyev, doctor of art critic and Professor Kubra Aliyeva, chief of history chair of Azerbaijan Technical University, Professor Shikar Gasimov, Professor, public figure Shahlar Asgarov, deputy director of AzGranata MMC, Vugar Mikayilov spoke and appreciated highly the activity of MIRAS Organization and congratulated the MIRAS Team on occasion of the jubilee.
The congratulations of the MIRAS international partners, i.e. Spain, Italy, Turkey, Georgia were sounded during the conference.
The event continued with folk dances of different nations by members of MIRAS and mughams by MIRAS music group.
